Collaborating with writers to make their ideas flourish.
Do you have a solid draft of your book, but you need help with tone, organization, or structure?
Would you like to improve the clarity and flow of your writing?
Do you have creative and interesting ideas, but you’re struggling with how to express them?
You’re in the right place.
I collaborate with writers to make their vision a reality through writing coaching, developmental editing, and line editing.
What type of editing do you need?
Writing Coaching
Includes encouragement and support of your writing process through phone calls, email check-ins, and comments on your draft writing. I offer weekly, monthly, and bi-monthly coaching packages.
Developmental Editing
Includes a written assessment of the organization, tone, and content of your manuscript. I highlight the manuscript’s strengths, detail key areas for improvement, and also include an action plan for revisions.
Line Editing
Involves detailed edits of your writing focused on clarity, style, and syntax. I suggest edits to polish your writing in preparation for the next stage in the publishing process.

How does this work?
If you believe your project and vision are worth investing in, please contact me to discuss working together.
Start by filling out my contact form, providing details about your project’s length and topic, and describing the type of editing or coaching you are looking for.
I’ll email you within a day or two with my availability and follow-up questions and we can set up a time to chat.
If it seems like we will be a good fit, I will ask you to send your full manuscript. I will provide a sample edit along with a proposal, quote, and estimated timeframe.
After you sign a contract and send a deposit (usually 50%), I will begin work on your project.
I will send you a detailed written assessment and/or edits as we have agreed. We can schedule a phone call to discuss these. We can also arrange for me to review subsequent drafts after you revise.
